Restore your concrete surfaces to a high-gloss shine
Over time, heavy traffic or exposure to the elements can cause your concrete and masonry to become dulled, scuffed, and lifeless. If your walls, floors, or stonework are starting to show signs of wear, a professional commercial painting contractor can restore them to their original glory.
With more than 29 years in the industry, the experts at Raider Painting have extensive experience in commercial and industrial restoration, including concrete and masonry surfaces. We can transform dulled walls, floors, and decks into highly attractive surfaces that create a fantastic first impression for your customers.
How is concrete and masonry restored?
The first and most essential step in concrete and masonry restoration is surface preparation. Any existing paint, coatings, or contaminants must be removed to ensure proper adhesion of the new coating.
Following surface prep, there are a few different options for restoring the surface. Polished concrete is often an excellent choice, as it doesn't require extensive remodeling. It's also an environmentally friendly procedure that involves no elaborate chemicals or synthetic products.
Another option is a clear finish coating, which can enhance any substrate surface. This method achieves an elegant high gloss or matte finish for concrete or masonry, and is also easy to clean and maintain for long-lasting aesthetic appeal.
Finally, elastomeric coatings are an exceptional choice for exterior decks and walls, or for surfaces that are constantly exposed to moisture. Elastomerics have superior waterproofing capabilities that protect your substrate from moisture damage, while also enhancing the look of your deck, flooring, or walls.
See our work in action.
We restored the exterior deck at the Westfield Century City Mall, which had suffered damage and deterioration from heavy foot traffic and exposure to the elements. After preparing the surface with diamond grinding for a non-slip surface, we applied a concrete densifier that penetrates the concrete for a protective coating that will retain its great look for years.
At Honda of Oxnard, a busy repair shop, the concrete suffered from heavy traffic and frequent chemical and corrosive spills. We blasted the surface to remove the existing paint, grease, and other contaminants, and then applied a fresh coating to ensure ease of maintenance.
