Raider in Action at the Marriott Hotel
The Marriott Hotel had a problem. Air conditioning condensation had come in contact with the steel support members of the hotel's roof. Over time, the moisture accelerated the rate of corrosion and if left unchecked, would have caused a costly and dangerous situation. Fortunately, the facilities manager for the hotel caught the problem in time and called us.
We blasted the steel structural elements to remove any traces of the corrosion. Once the support members were clean, we sealed the structure and re-coated the steel to retard the spread of corrosion and extend the working life of the structural elements.
