Rely on the industrial painting experts for your specialized needs.
There are many challenges involved in painting for mining and agriculture facilities. The massive spaces they cover can present logistical problems, and nearly constant operations can complicate scheduling. You need an experienced contractor to tackle the job, in order to ensure that it's done right the first time.
The professionals at Raider Painting have the expertise you need. We've worked exclusively on commercial and industrial projects for more than 29 years, and our team is highly knowledgeable about the particular challenges presented by mining and agricultural settings.
What can we do for you?
In mining and agricultural industries, much of the equipment is used under harsh environmental conditions. Sunlight, humidity, water and salt water, and extreme hot or cold temperatures can cause extensive damage to your facility’s machinery and structural components over time.
When it comes to your facility and equipment, protective measures are just as important as appearances. We provide a wide range of solutions designed to prevent damage caused by rust, corrosion, water seepage, and harmful UV rays, and to protect against wear and tear to your machinery.
Epoxy coatings are commonly used in industrial settings, such as mining and agriculture. These durable, tough-as-nails coatings are water and chemical resistant, and can be applied to roofs, walls, floors, decks, steel structural components, and machinery to enhance appearance and provide protection from environmental factors.
Some of the many services we provide for mining and agricultural facilities include:
- Corrosion control coatings
- Waterproofing and weatherproofing
- Machinery and equipment painting
- Deck and floor coatings
- Interior and exterior painting
- Polyurethane and UV protective coatings
- Steel structural coatings

At Sierra Silica Resources, a glass silicate mining facility, we coated ten 30,000-gallon tanks and silos, and approximately 50,000 linear feet of steel structural I-beams to provide corrosion control.
The extensive surface preparation for this project included water and sand blasting, mechanical grinding, and hand grinding in difficult to reach areas. We applied a direct to metal (DTM) primer, which inhibits rust, and a DTM top coat.
Protective coatings and so much more.
