What we did
Tank Farm & Piping
Comprehensive surface preparation and recoating of eight silo tanks and extensive associated piping and equipment throughout the tank farm. The project included manways, railings, pump heads, containment areas, loading areas, overhead piping, piping along the rail line, and connections extending to the building.
Existing steel surfaces were pressure washed and hand-tool prepared to remove loose rust, deteriorated coatings, and surface contaminants. Prepared surfaces received a high-solids primer followed by a direct-to-metal acrylic protective finish system. CMU surfaces received a two-coat acrylic system.
Additional work included coating the fire suppression tank and load rack structure.
