Industrial painting contractors

We paint plants, warehouses, metal buildings, and the steel inside them, and we plan the work around production. Industrial painting since 1983.

Overview

Industrial painting that holds up in a working plant

Industrial painting is about protection more than looks. Moisture, chemicals, abrasion, and daily wear break coatings down, and once they fail, the steel, concrete, and equipment underneath are exposed. Our crews put down coating systems that hold up in a working plant.

Our industrial painting services cover factories, warehouses and distribution centers, food plants, energy and utility companies, and water and sewage treatment plants. The same crews handle a single metal building or a whole campus.

Painting around a running plant

Most plants can’t stop for a paint job. We plan the work around your schedule: phased areas, work between shifts, nights and weekends, or the whole job inside a planned shutdown. You get one point of contact on our side, so your team isn’t managing painters. Our crews have OSHA 10- and 30-hour training, and every job has daily safety checks and weekly tailgate safety meetings.

Surface prep comes with the job

Coatings fail when the prep is skipped. Every industrial paint job starts with getting rust, oil, scale, and failing coatings off the surface. Depending on the surface, that means abrasive blast cleaning, power-tool cleaning, or chemical cleaning and degreasing. Then the right primer: zinc-rich primers on steel for corrosion protection, epoxy for adhesion and chemical resistance, and polyurethane or high-build coatings where there’s weather exposure.

FAQ

Common questions

More FAQs
What is dry fall paint?

Dry fall (or dryfall) paint is a spray-applied coating made for ceilings, decks, and exposed structure. The overspray dries to a dust before it lands and sweeps up off the floor, so the equipment below doesn’t have to be masked off. It’s the usual choice for warehouse and plant ceilings.

Can you paint during a plant shutdown?

Yes. A shutdown is often the best time for larger work. Tell us the dates and we staff the job to finish inside the window. Our crews also work between shifts, nights, and weekends.

Do you also do coatings for floors, steel, and tanks?

Yes. Floor coatings, structural steel and machinery coatings, tank linings, waterproofing, fireproofing, and FDA and USDA coatings are all part of what we do.
