Data center painting contractors
Coatings for plant rooms, equipment, floors, and the buildings around them, done without taking the data center offline.
Overview
Data center coatings that keep cooling and power running
A data center can’t go down for a paint job. Raider Painting is a commercial and industrial painting contractor that plans every project around critical power and cooling, protects your equipment while we work, and keeps dust out of the building. Our crews understand that uptime comes first, so the work is scheduled, contained, and completed without putting your operations at risk.
At DuPont Fabros’ 360,000 sq. ft. SC1 data center in the San Francisco Bay Area, we blasted and recoated eight chiller water boxes inside the working building. We set up full containment with air filtration to catch the blasting dust, then applied the coatings to the client’s specs. The facility stayed live, the equipment stayed clean, and the job finished as planned.
We bring the same care to chillers, cooling equipment, piping, structural steel, floors, and interior and exterior surfaces. Every project begins with thorough surface preparation, followed by protective coatings that guard against rust and corrosion and extend equipment life. We cover and mask sensitive equipment, control dust and debris, and work in phases around your maintenance windows, nights, and weekends.
From a single piece of cooling equipment to an entire data center campus, Raider Painting delivers reliable, long-lasting results on schedule and with minimal disruption to your operations.

Can you work off-hours, nights, weekends, or holidays?
Absolutely! We work around your business’s needs and operational requirements. Our crews can be scheduled during facility shutdowns, between shifts for multi-shift operations, or anytime outside standard hours: nights, weekends, and holidays included. There are no limitations. Just let us know what fits your schedule.
How soon can I get a site visit? How long does it take to receive an estimate?
Site visits are typically scheduled within 2–4 days, depending on the urgency and scope of your project. In many cases, we can provide preliminary pricing even faster by using satellite imagery and client-provided photos, allowing us to complete remote assessments when an on-site visit isn’t immediately necessary. Once a site visit is completed, formal written estimates are generally turned around within 1–2 days for straightforward projects, while larger or more complex scopes may require 4–7 days to prepare accurately. Rush estimates are also available Just let us know the urgency and we’ll make it happen!
Do you service my area?
Yes. Although our headquarters are in California, we work nationwide, including Hawaii and Alaska. We have crews based throughout the country and regularly mobilize teams to meet the needs of projects nationwide.
Do I have to pay for an estimate?
No, estimates are always free. Your estimator will walk through your project details and, in many cases, can share preliminary pricing during your first conversation.
