It's important to note that working with two-part epoxy resins relies on precise mixtures and timing—improper application can greatly diminish the effectiveness of the coating. Our years of experience working with epoxy ensures that the job will be done right the first time.

At Westway Feed Products, we coated both the interiors and exteriors of several massive feed tanks. Surface prep for the interiors required sandblasting to SSPC-SP10 requirements, and special spray equipment was used to apply a highly viscous Dura Plate coating.

The exteriors of the tanks were sandblasted to SSPC-SP6 standards, and then coated with epoxy coating and a polyurethane top coat. In addition to the walls of the tanks, we also coated the stairs and roofs to provide complete protection.
